How do I get Apps to this device? or If you are new to the mobile world, what is an App?

App or an Application is a program that can be installed on to the device. The app will have an icon to . An App can be purchased through iTunes App Store on your computer or through the App Store app on the iPad (If you need to download iTunes, click here). An iTunes account will be needed to download apps. Some apps may have a cost attached to them, others are free.

The Default apps on the iPAD are App Store; Calendar; Contacts; iTunes; Mail; Maps; Notes; Photos; Safari; Videos and Youtube. Apps can be added through the App store or iTunes.

If you are looking for a specific app, try one of the app databases Google Database or Moodle Database
